I lost my Mother to Cervical Cancer , she was only 55. Cervical Cancer can be prevented with getting a yearly pap smear and cured by removing the cervix . So it is very important to me . One of the common questions I get as a Holistic Practitioner is Vaginal Odor, Discharge , and or Pain . These can be a source of distress for a lot of women and indicators of something not quite right and you need to see a Medical Doctor right away if it persists. Great Vaginal Health Begins with a Clear Mindset , Clean Diet , Lots of Water . Vaginal Steams , Yoni Detox Pearls , and Boric Acid Suppositories are natural remedies.
V-steaming is said to:
Women who may benefit from a vaginal-steam would be those who suffer from the following conditions:
Please avoid steaming if you're on your period (do the steam a few days before menstruation; or wait until your period is over), have a vaginal infection, pregnant or breastfeeding. Women should also refrain from steaming if they have open sores or blisters. Women with piercing should remove jewelry before doing the steaming.
If you have an Intrauterine Device (IUD), steam at your own risk. In rare occasions the steam has been said to dislodge the IUD. With that being said, I have an IUD and didn't experience any complications.
The herbs are extremely powerful. After getting the steam treatment, my cycle started the very next day. It didn't last long (less than 48 hours), but the herbs we're powerful enough to trigger it. I definitely recommend the steam if you suffer from irregular cycles.
It varies and depends on the woman. Women who suffer from menstruation issues and/or fertility challenges should steam a few times a month(during the weeks in which you are not menstruating). It's recommended if you're treating for menstrual pain, to steam a few days before your cycle is scheduled to start. Yoni steams can also help women who are experiencing fertility challenges. Women with these issues, should steam about once a week. It will take a few months before seeing results.

Please note: this can temporarily increase menstrual flow with more dark fluids or debris. Menses may start earlier than usual due to the cleansing effect.YONI DETOX PEARLS
Yoni Detox Pearls are a holistic approach to restoring feminine health and confidence. The pearls hold powerful herbs that aid in the removal of toxins from the vagina that may be working against the overall health of the womb. Yoni Gems Detox Suppositories help to provide vaginal tightening, decrease vaginal dryness and allow the blood to recirculate throughout the womb and uterus. Like the steam, they also aid in improving a myriad of health conditions including: yeast and bacterial infections, infertility, fibroids, irregular menstruation, vaginal dryness, pelvic inflammatory disease, urine incontinence, and expelling fluid build ups that are not expelled during the menstrual cycle that can cause cysts and fibroids.
They are made of :
Motherwort - regulates menses and removes toxins
Borneol : reduces pain and hot flashes
Rhizoma : removes toxins
Ligusticam - dilates blood vessels in abdomen , relaxes muscles cells which decreases cramps
Similar to the steam, please do NOT use if you're pregnant, breastfeeding, or on your period. It's also recommended that if you are a virgin to avoid using the pearls. Due to the strong nature of the herbs, the pearls have the ability to break the hymen. If you have an IUD, use at your own risk. In rare circumstances, pearls have dislodged the IUD. I have one, and did not experience this. However, I would be remiss if I did not warn you about the side effects of using the pearls.
This is simply the white discharge that will expel from your vagina as it begins to cleanse. The discharge is compiled of dead vaginal skin cells, blood clots, and mucus that the vagina has accumulated over time. It's important to let it come out naturally; do NOT try to pull it out on your own.
Due to the toxins being drawn out, every woman will have a different experience. On the second day, I experienced some vaginal dryness (very normal). It did not have an odor or itch, but it was a little uncomfortable. Thankfully, it went away within 24 hours. If you experience dryness or itchiness, apply coconut oil to the lower region for relief. Dead sea salt baths will help with this problem, too. I've also read that some women may develop a yeast infection after the use of the detox pearls. If that happens, use a boric acid suppository. Please note: make sure to read instructions when using boric acid suppositories. Do NOT consume boric acid orally. They should be inserted in the vagina. Please consult with doctor or health care provider before taking.
Please remember that womb healing is 75 percent diet and 25 percent technique. If you don’t properly nourish your body with a healthy diet, you will not receive the optimal benefits from the steam. I recommend purchasing my vegan e-book for healthy recipes to eat during the week(s) you steam and/or use the pearls.
This product works by replenishing normal vaginal acidity and balancing vaginal flora (helpful bacteria).
Boric acid comes from a mineral found in sea water.
Boric acid suppositories are used in the treatment of the following genitourinary medical conditions:
Bacterial vaginosis is an infection of the vagina that is caused by excessive bacterial activity, such as gandnerella, bacteroides, fusobacterium, and others in a woman’s genitourinary tract. Bacterial vaginosis is an imbalance of 'good' vaginal flora (like lactobacillus) and 'bad' ones. It’s commonly associated with a white or gray vaginal discharge with a strong fishy odor. While most women do not experience any discomfort, sometimes there may be symptoms like abdominal pain/discomfort or dysuria (pain when urinating).
BV is the result of a change in the balance of the 'good' and 'bad' bacteria that are present in the vagina, as well as an increase in the total population of bacteria. Although BV is not considered an STD, risk factors for infection include having multiple sexual partners.
Conventional treatment of BV prescribes an antibiotic like clindamycin or metronidazole, but many healthcare professionals recommend alternative treatments, including yogurt and probiotic supplements.
Boric acid capsules are a well-established treatment for bacterial vaginosis. According to one recommended regimen, they are inserted into the vagina every night for two weeks. This is considered a safe application of the drug and, in combination with antibiotics, can be effective in the treatment of BV.
Vaginal yeast infections are also known as candidal vulvovaginitis or candidiasis. They result from an increased growth of yeast in the vagina, which causes irritation, swelling, and itching in the area. Other symptoms include dysuria (pain and burning when urinating), thick but odorless vaginal discharge that looks like cottage cheese, and pain during intercourse.
Vaginal yeast infections are associated with the candida genus of yeast, which is normally present in the vagina in much lower numbers. But if the balance of normal vaginal bacteria and yeast changes, a woman can experience symptoms of candidiasis. While it’s not considered an STD, rates of infection tend to increase in women with multiple sexual partners. Typical treatment is with an oral or topical antifungal medication like clotrimazole or fluconazole.
Boric acid suppositories are sometimes prescribed in the treatment of vaginal yeast infections that recur despite treatment. This usage of boric acid has existed for over a hundred years and is advantageous because it targets more than one strain of candida yeast.
Trichomoniasis is an infectious disease that is caused by the parasite trichomonas vaginalis. Typical symptoms include genital itching, a watery greyish foul-smelling vaginal discharge, and pain when urinating and during sex. Trichomonas is an STD that is most commonly transmitted during vaginal, oral, and anal sex.
A trichomonas infection is usually treated with antibiotics like metronidazole and tinidazole, but drug resistance is an increasing problem. Successful treatment has also been reported following the use of boric acid suppositories.
Boric acid suppositories are widely available without prescription from drug stores and from online retailers. A typical dose is 600 milligrams per day, and a new suppository should be inserted into the vagina every day before going to bed for 7 to 14 days.
Observe the following guidelines when inserting your boric acid suppository:
The suppository should be inserted at the same time each day. Many women find inserting it before going to bed to be convenient.
Boric acid suppositories take only a few minutes to completely dissolve in your vagina, but many women still prefer to wear a pantyliner while undergoing treatment to minimize the risk of clothing stains.
There may be an improvement in symptoms in as little as a day, but you should still complete the prescribed course of treatment to reduce the likelihood of the infection returning. In acute cases, your doctor may suggest taking two capsules daily rather than just one. In any case, consult a healthcare professional for advice on dosage and course duration.
Boric acid suppositories have been used for many years and are generally considered safe. As with anything, however, you may experience side effects including:
You should discontinue use of the treatment if it causes severe discomfort and seek medical advice if this does not resolve itself.
Furthermore, take note of the following important restrictions:
